I am interested in species dispersal, particularly of endoparasites, and how this is influenced by global change. I am fascinated by what makes a parasite successful in its ability to transition and adapt to new environments as well as the evolution of specialist and generalist parasites. My PhD focuses on the parasitic dynamics in the colonisation of the silvereye (Zosterops lateralis) across the South Pacific Islands.
